Well I just tried to load the pictures of the birthday dinner last night but the battery was low and only two pictures turned out and none of them were of Gerald. I have such luck. Anyway, sorry to disappoint my readers but I have nothing at this time. Christmas is coming so I will have some pictures then. My birthday is coming and then New Year's Eve so I will for sure have some good pictures. Everyone remember the Sugar Bowl is Jan 2nd so tune in and Yell ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!
I thought I would go ahead and put the lyrics to the Alabama Fight Song on here in case some fans dont know the words.
Yea Alabama
drown em tide
every Bama man's behind you
hit your stride
go teach the bulldogs to behave
send the yellow jackets to a watery grave
and if a man starts to weaken
thats a shame
for Bama's pluck and grit
have writ her name in Crimson flame
fight on fight on fight on men
remember the rose bowl will win then
so go roll to victory
hit your stride
your Dixie's football pride Crimson Tide

Go Dallas
Well my Dallas Cowboys pulled off another win and this time it was against the New York Giants. Hell yeah. I was so pumped. I also heard from my cousin John who lives in El Paso. It was great to hear from him. I am hoping to go out for a visit sometime in May. I hope. Anyway, this friday is my sister Christina and my husband Gerald's birthday. So sis I hope you have a great birthday and as for my husband he will be spending his birthday in the woods hunting of course. Gerald will meet us for dinner and then go back to the woods. I have to go out there tomorrow and stay until Friday because his brother wont be out there until friday evening. So I'm just glad as cold as it is that I dont have to potty in the woods or I would be telling him to go it alone. HaHa!!!

The Tide Did'nt Roll
Well we lost the SEC championship game so maybe we can at least win the sugar bowl. I watched my Dallas Cowboys kick butt on the Giants last nite. HOW SWEET!!!!!!!
I know some of my readers dont like the boys but they are Americas Team and last nite they showed why. I was so excited. Now maybe we have a chance for the wildcard. Of course Tony Romo chokes in the playoffs but he may surprise me like he did last nite. So everyone root for the Cowboys. We need all the prays we can get.

SEC Championship Game
Well today is the day. Big Al and the Crimson Tide take on the Florida Gators for the SEC championship. I am hoping that the tide wears them out but, it is going to be an exciting game. I think it will be a very close game. I predict that the score will be 17-14 Alabama. We will see if I am right. If Alabama loses then I know I will never hear the end of it from my Dad. He did the gator chop the whole time he was here for Thanksgiving however I do realize that he is going to pull for whomever is playing against my team. My Dad is to funny. He justs likes to try to get me mad. Well enjoy the game and everyone pull for the Crimson Tide and our line of Red Elephants. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Briana's Birthday
Well today is Briana's 5th birthday. I called her this morning and sang happy birthday to her. I cant believe she is already 5. It seems like yesterday that she was born. They grow up so fast. We had her party at the skating rink so here are some pictures from that. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRI BRI!!!!!!! Nana and PawPaw love you so much.
My Nephew's Wedding
My nephew Robert got married on the 29th of November (Iron Bowl day). It was a beautiful wedding. I cried of course. I am close to him and I have watched him grow up so it was almost like watching my own kid get married. Anyway, here are some pictures that I took. His new wife's name is Dusti and we just adore her.

Briana's Birthday Party at My Mom's House
We had an early birthday party for Briana at Mom's house so that Dad and Donna could give her their gift and watch her open it. Briana was so excited. She picked out the cake and the candles. She got two of the cutest outfits. One was pink pants (which by the way is her favorite color) and a pink sweater and the other one was a purple sweat suit (purple is her other favorite color). Anyway, her birthday party is tomorrow at the Odessey Skating Rink. I wont be skating but I will have fun watching. I will post those pictures after the party. Her actual birthday is Tuesday Dec. 2nd. She will be 5 years old. She is excited about going to big girl school next year.
Goofing off on Mickey's Crotch Rocket
These were taken last Friday at Lisa and Mike's house. I had a ball hanging out with them and goofing off on Mickey's crotch rocket. Of course there was crown involved but they would'nt let me take it for a drive around the block. Maybe because they were concerned about their neighbors mailboxes. Thats another story that I wont get into.

Whats up
No pictures today just an update on things. Deer season opens up (for guns) on Sat.
Gerald is so excited and he is planning to leave on Friday and come home on Sunday. I really look forward to deer season because that is when I get my alone time to go be with my kids or be by myself. I can sleep allday or watch tv and I dont have to cook or clean up after anyone but myself. It is great. I guess everyone knows that the cowboys beat the redskins 14-10. I was excited. Now they have a chance at a playoff wildcard which they would not have gotten if the skins had beat them again. Like my sis says LIFE IS GOOD!!!! The Alabama Crimson Tide is having a real good season as well. They are 11-0 yeah thats right undefeated. They will face Auburn on the 29th and I sure hope they win. They have not beaten Auburn the last six games. So ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!! My Dad and step-mother will be here on the 26th until the 30th. They will spend Thanksgiving at my house and then on the 29th my nephew is getting married at 2pm. I cant believe someone would get married on a holiday weekend AND on the day of the iron bowl. How crazy but I have to go. Thank God for DVR. We will get together with Dad and Donna after the wedding to do a birthday dinner for Briana. She will be 5 on the 2nd of December and her party is at the skating rink on South Memorial Parkway on the 30th but Dad has to leave to get ready to go to El Paso. We are glad they will be here for Thanksgiving anyway. I will have some more stuff for all my readers by the end of the weekend. Later

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!
Well yesterday was a big game for us. Alabama played LSU at LSU, which FYI is where our coach Saban took the tigers to a national championship. We started out good got bad and I think Coach Saban chewed some butt at halftime because we came back and won 27-21. It was a close game and exciting game. My daughter-in-law says that watching Alabama and The Dallas Cowboys play football is not at all healthy for me. I get so mad and upset when something goes wrong. I guess I am just very passionate about my teams. Anyway, I went to my daughter Lisa's house to watch the game and took a couple of pictures. The gray tabby is Tess, the orange and white cat is my buddy Buddy(who by the way is on my daughter's lap) and the laid back dude in the recliner is Lisa's hubby Mike or Mikey as we call him. He's a hoot.

Home for the Holidays
Thought my readers might like to see how I have decorated for the holidays. We put lights all around the front of the house and wreaths on the windows. These pics may not look so great because they were taken at night but I have also included a pic of Briana taken yesterday and My little baby Molly who is 9 years old now. My tree in the sunroom is plain this year, but that is because I put up a total of 10 or 11 every year. This year I have only 8. I am getting to old and I hate having to take it all down. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!

I am catching on
Well I have added a few things. I am playing around trying to figure this thing out. anyone following feel free to give suggestions. That means you sis.
Big Spring Jam 2008

We have a music festival every year that consists of 3 stages and several performers over 3 days. This year I got 2 passes for a meet and greet with John Rich so I took my grand-daughter Briana. This picture was taken by John's photographer shelia. In the pic is John Rich, Bri, Me, Cowboy Troy and 2ft Fred. They were all so very nice and we even got a picture and a shirt signed by John. John Rich is the most fan oriented performer that I have ever seen. It was a great time.
Finally got the blog
Well here I go. Trying to join the cyber-world. I don't know what I am doing yet, but I will figure it out.
