New House

These are some pictures of the house we bought on Lake Guntersville. We wont get to move until the end of Nov or Mid Dec but we are so excited. We want everyone to come party with us when we move in. We are having a band and lots of food. One pic is of Gerald's building that is across the street and some of the huge porch. We do have other rooms however I just chose a few of the good ones to share. It has 3 bedrooms, the large florida room, which is pictured, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, office and a den. Oh and of course the mega bar.

I'm Back

Well to all my readers, I am sorry I have posted in awhile but so much is going on right now I barely have time to breathe. I am working anywhere from 9-11 hours a day plus trying to do some other things that I am not at liberty to discuss at this time. I will talk about and post it next week. In addition my daughter is turning 30 on Friday May 8th at 10:22 am. Man do I feel old. Well I am old haha. Anyway, Mothers Day is Sunday so I am taking my Mom out to eat dinner at the Sante Fe. It is a very good steak house. I have only been in there once to get a gift card but they have a big ass fan in there. I saw it and I said that is a big ass fan then when I looked at the brand in the center it said Big Ass Fan Co and had a picture of a donkeys butt. TOOOO FUNNY!!!!! We went to Talladega a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. Some of my buddies didnt come and it wasnt the same but we still had a good time as usual. We have some friends that live in Tyler Texas and they are coming for a visit. I cant wait. They are so much fun. So Jan if you are reading this tell Clint I have lots of BL and blue mountains. We are going to Cabo San Lucas in June, Bristol to the races in August and El Paso to see my family in September. We are going to stay with my cousin John and his wife Samantha when we go to El Paso. I cant wait for that. I really am looking forward to playing with Mia, his daughter. She is such a beautiful child. I am posting a picture of her on this post. Isnt she a doll? Well I better get to work so I will be back with another post on Monday. I will have some goodies. See ya!!

Summer Fun

Well I have an update on my summer plans. Gerald and I were not going to Cabo this year because of low finances however we found out that his company credit card had enough miles for us to get free tickets so we are going. We have done everything that we want to there so all we will spend money on is food which is very cheap there if you go to the grocery store. Thats what we do anyway. We are leaving on the 20th of June. I cant wait. I think our son and daughter-in-law may go with us. That will be fun. We pay for this every month so the thought of not going sounds like a big waste of money to me so being able to go on free tickets is great. All I do anyway is lay by the pool. That is my idea of the perfect vacation. I wont spend money on my yearly body scrub this year but thats ok, I'm just glad to be able to go.
We are going to Talladega in April and again in October. We usually sell our fall tickets but this year it falls on Halloween so you know me and parties. Iam the social butterfly so Im there. We usually go the Tyler for the 4th of July but not this year. Its to hot for Gerald and we cant afford it this year. We are also trying to plan a trip to El Paso to see the family and my CRAZY cousin John. He is a nutcase. I hope maybe to go in September around Labor Day. Trevor's Concert

Hello readers, Trevor was selected to be in this years Madison County Honor Band. They selected students from all 6 Madison County Middle Schools to participate and Trevor was chosen. I am so proud of him. We went to the concert and it was great. These kids are just as good as any adults I have ever heard. Each school teacher conducted one song and they were awesome. Anyway, after the concert Briana had to see her Trevor and these pictures are of them after the concert. They love each other so much. Keep up the good work Trevor. We love you.

Finally an Update

Sorry it has taken me so long to update but I have had alot going on. I have been working alot of hours and going to the lake on the weekends to get my yard cleaned up. Man it was a mess. Pine needles and leaves everywhere. I swear they had to have been 4 inches thick. Anyway, got it done and now I need to work on my flower beds. I need to plant more flowers and do some mulching. I really need to spread some more gravel. I am waiting to put my gazebo screen up until after all the pollen has fallen. When pollen is high everything is yellow and I dont want the screen to turn yellow. I will also have to pressure wash the trailer and clean the pine needles of the top of it.
Briana is graduating from pre-K on May the 12th. She has been registered at the elementary school and screened. They told Lisa she was very smart. I think she will do very well in school. Trevor is in his last year of Middle school and his band went to Orlando last week. They got first place and Trevor is having an honor band concert at the Civic Center Thursday night. I am so proud of him.
Work is still slow right now. I am hoping it picks up soon. I have alot of people to visit. I am going to Talladega in April but only because I have had the tickets for almost a year. If I had to but them now I would be out of luck. The fall race I have tickets for as well and it will fall on Halloween weekend. They sent me a letter informing me that they are having a huge infield costume party on Halloween night. That will be a blast.

Family Pictures

I know it has been awhile since I updated but nothing much has been happening. We moved our office to the house and now I am back at work for Gerald. Yee Haw!!!!!
Anyway, I got these pics from my cousin John in El Paso so I thought I would share them with everyone. These are pictures of Mia, John's daughter, John his wife Samantha and Mia, John and Mia, John in his soccer uniform (btw congrats on 2nd place old man) and My grandmother with all the grand kids and great grand kids, and John's Mom and Dad, Uncle Ray and Aunt Tina.

Deer Hunting

Well this past Friday I went to the hunting camp with Gerald over in Lacey's Spring and aroung 3:40 I heard a boom that sounded like a cannon going off. Turns out it was Gerald's big 300 gun shooting an 8 point buck. It was a beautiful deer. I have never seen one so brown. His other two are more of a silver color. I think this one is not from Lacey it was probably on a road trip that ended to soon. HaHa!!!!!
Anyway, I cant wait to get the meat. We are having it done in sausage, ground meat and jerky meat. We can make some mean jerky.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Gerald and I stayed home and brought in the new year just the two of us. We watched the new years rockin eve and had many adult beverages. We dont even remember going to bed after midnight. We really had a good time. New year's day I cooked my usual black-eyed peas with ham, turnip greens, cornbread, fried potatoes and spicy cabbage. We need all the luck and money we can get. Mom and Bob came over and ate with us and we had a good visit. It was their anniversary and I forgot. Mom reminded me that night. Sorry Mom HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. I love you. By the way everyone, dont forget tonight is the Sugar Bowl. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
